ok wow.. this is such raw and well crafted retrowave.. it's got s specific drive to it... This is NOT samples and sounds from the internet, you can tell DM spent hours and hours fine tuning this. it has the sequencer effects paired with wicked guitar solos that are powerful but mellow, perfect for driving.. it suddenly dawned on me that DM reminds me of a specific 80s band. The premier full length LP from the extraordinary talent that is Danny Madigan, Radial is a fearsome album which asserts his position as an incredible, resourceful songwriter, musician and producer. There are huge swathes of emotion, textures and timbres on show here, but the Numan-esque throb and swagger of 'For the World is Hollow...' stands out. With crashing waves of post-punk riffage and triumphant chorus, it feels like a statement of intent - Madigan means business. Best pay attention.
